After lunch we had people come into our class and teach us about forestry and logging trucks

First in class they explained that trees get cut down from age 25-30.They can grow longer but they would be too large

and wouldn’t fit into the saw.They also showed us in pictures all the different ways we use pine trees for example fence posts,toys,houses etc.

then they told us what their positions were in forestry  and how they came to that position then we walked down to the gate to have a turn in the logging truck.Xavier Jahn and I were in a group but only Xavier got to hot the horn because it was running out of gas we also learnt the weak spot for large trucks.

I learnt heaps of things 🙂

First time shot

 

As I entered the massive Obstacle filled field with bridges over ponds,tiers and even an old rusty and paint splattered van to hide behind.

The whistle blew it sounded bim but audible.I dived behind a stack of black tiers and crouched down.After a long moment dragged past slowly I stood up stiffly and looked around the tall green pines where people form the enemy team were hiding I took careful aim and moved my finger to the trigger but before I could fire 

I heard a bang of a different gun. I thought it came from far away but the next moment I heard the Whizzing of a bullet very close to close, then it hit me. I saw the purple paint splatter on me.

I froze from the sock and pain that so suddenly shot through my knee the paint was slimy as it soaked through my pants.

I could smell the paint as it stung my nose. It smelled of chemicals.

 

When I arrived at school with Indy I saw my brother and his girlfriend Cassidy as I walked into the school I also saw my other brother and mum I was so happy.

Then I noticed we were a bit late.but luckily I wasn’t on the first shift for the paracord bracelets.( survival Style)

Firstly I looked around all the classes to see if I want to buy anything which I did I bought a chai Guys product and a KawaKawa balm which smelled amazing!

When my shift came heaps of the bracelets were already sold it was fun selling the bracelets. It was crackup when Indy told one of the little kids that they gave you powers and Levi told them they don’t but when Levi told the little kids that they gave powers Indy told him off. 😄

after my shift was finished Indy and I went back home.

We made these paracord bracelets and we learnt how to make a business plan and how to make profit which we are using to fund a class trip to paintball.

In my group there was Cooper ,Indy,Levi,Richy,Ella, Xavier and me.

This afternoon we did isometric drawing it was fun!!

First we got Isometric paper and the teacher Wheae Sarah told us we had to do our first name and our last names, it looked soo hard and impossible  especially because the letters in my first and last name looked very hard for me. we had to do it in pencil first and then shad it in with three different colors to make it look even more isometric.

When I tried it at first it took ages for one letter but after my 3rd,4th go it was easy as and it started to get really fun I also did my middle name😄

SO YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY TRY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today, this morning we got straight into writing Wheae Sarah  already had something for us.

First we listened to this orchestra thing and on a piece of paper  we had to draw the rhythm  with lines on a piece of paper it looked a bit like your heart beat on the machine  when you’re in a hospital.

Then we  had a couple minutes writing a story that fits to the rhythm of the orchestra play which was very hard for me but not so much for others. after that 2 people had read theirs out loud  we went back to editing the story especially putting more descriptive language into the writing piece

At the end Wheae Sarah read the real story behind the orchestra play it was very cool how they made all the instruments  fit into the story.

“ AAGG I don’t want to get up” that’s me in the morning.

When I arrived at school it was starting to rain and I got WET!! When I walked to the classroom Three of the girls (Alice, Ayla and Indy)that were going to be in my dorm were there,everyone was super excited.

40 min Later

When we opened the dorm room door we all were shocked.”This looks like a  prison cell”exclaimed Indy in a aghas tone

“Have you seen the toilet? It’s like the same one we used in kindergarten”complained Alice stunned 

“And the beds are damp,”said Ayla, horrified at the thought of  sleeping here.

‘At lest we don’t have a teacher with us or the girls that were supposed to sleep in tents right?’’ I said

The gray stone walls were wet same as the the ground  in the shower the blue pain was starting to peel of the ground.

‘I dibs the top bunk.’’ Shouted Indy 

“Na we have to do rock paper scissors.” I shouted back

“Alice, do you want the top bunk?”asked Indy 

“No” she replied

1 Minute Later

“YES I won” I announced “come let’s check out the other cabins and find Norah” declared Alice. In my opinion all the other cabins were cleaner but everyone said our one was better because we had thick mattresses and they had thin ones which was sort of true and we had no teacher sleeping in our cabin so one bonuses point😝.

Couple of hours Later

When dinner was ready we all sat up and tried to keep quiet to get picked first which didn’t work. We had Mac and cheese with a bit of lettuce,tomato and cucumber.

We Went to sleep ZZZZZZ😴

“Everyone get up it’s 6:20am!!!” I called out loud, my alarm didn’t go off because I had my watch arm under my pillow.

“AAGG”mumbled Alice, still half asleep.

“We have to hurry up or we will be late for breakfast”urged Ayla .

As we entered the dining hall most of the kids were there but luckily we weren’t the last dorm to arrive. For breakfast we had rice bubbles or weetbix with milk,yogurt and fruit salad if we wanted it.

“Were going to Tane Mahuta the bus ride will be 2 hours long ”said Whaea Kaiya. A loud mumbling erupted around the hall.

As Indy and I got off the bus we had wraps for lunch then we cleaned and sanitized our shoes.There was a Lady there who told us the story of Tane Mahuta which was very interesting.(Tane Mahuta is massive!!!)

When we arrive back at camp everyone was very tired from long day but Indy and me still had just enough energy to play soccer with Jahn,Xavier, JayJay, Norah,Alice Levi after dropping our day bags into the dorm,

For dinner we had Nachos and for dessert we had vanilla ice cream and jelly. It was OK but I still gave my ice cream to Indy.

When we all were in our beds Ayla told a “scary” story about a black hooded figure and when Ayla finished Wheae Kayia came in without knocking she also was dressed in black she gave everyone a big fright because we just weren’t expecting it.

“BEBEBEBEBE”went the alarm

“Turn that stupid thing off!!” bellowed Ayla and Alice at the same time.

As Alice was grumbling sleepy. I sprang out of bed annoyed at myself that I didn’t have my arm under the pillow this time(ー_ー゛)

We had the same breakfast as the last time.

After breakfast Robe took out the water slide, sprayed it wet and put dish washing liquid on it to make it slippery. Most people ran back to their dorms to get changed as fast as possible Indy and me included. 

 

At the end of camp we did an obstacle course in the forest, blindfold course,flying fox and a very wobbly bridge over a stream half a meter deep. At the end the group that I was in was on the wobbly bridge and Jay Jay fell into the stream and he got soaked to the skin it was crack up.😁

Then we went back to school

In our first Tech class with wheae Jorja we started making eye pillows with the sewing machine it was very exiting but scary at the same time because you always thought it will go wrong but eventually I made it to the finishing point.

First ,we had to do our driver licence on paper with the sewing machine.

Secondly ,we made a rough copy and filled it with rice then we made a nice case around it .

We also had a choice to put a label on the eye pillow if we wanted to.

Finally,we wrote a note to put to it and give it to our mum for mothers day if we wanted to.

Silver was running hard trying to outrun her pain and humiliation,how could she have been so stupid to fall into his trap!?

While she was still angry with herself, she noticed that she had stopped running. She also noticed a painful stitch surging through her body,it felt like knives getting stabbed at her from all angles her body was trembling from pain.

But she had to keep running or the search party would catch up to her and probably the traitor himself as well.Silver’s head was spinning but she had to get a move on.

Before she could set her paws into movement she was surrounded by yowl’s,barks and howls, there were too many wolves to count.

Silver was sure that Jasper didn’t want her to escape again.

 

When Silver woke up she found herself in a wet dripping dungeon.

Before Silver could stand up she heard paws scuffing on the stone floor coming in her direction.

Silver sniffed hard trying hard to get a smell into her nose and she got what she was dreading it, the familiar scent stung her nose like a wasp,”Jasper”her voice came out in a growl,as the stone door swung open Silver saw his handsome night black cot and his dark green eyes looking. Jasper voice popped into her thoughts and said “The King will be arriving today so behave yourself”in response Silver growled ”DON”T YOU DARE TALK TO ME LIKE I’M A CHILD” suit yourself”said Jasper and just left. Silver felt like screaming after him but she had to keep her cool.

 

1 hour later a guard came to take Silver outside “don’t make a sound” threatened the guard as they made their way outside.About ten minutes later the hole Wolf pack lined up and started to howl in wellcome for there King (it sounded like a Elephant was trompeding,in Silver opinion).

It took only seconds for the king to appear . He was sitting in a wooden cart pulled by a big hairy dog who looked near to death.

Suddenly the dog stumbled and fell to the ground.The cart started to roll down the hill and all the wolves rushed to help their king.

Silver saw her chance and ran! But before she could round the corner and vanish Jasper saw her and followed.

 

Silver was running hard again crashing through the forest. She rounded the corner and came to an abrupt halt,there he was again Jasper.”hi”said Jasper in a casual tone.

Hatred bubbled up inside Silver like lava “you just love humiliating me don’t you? First in front of my friends then in front of the rest of the wolves and also my family!!” Silver spat at him Jasper just stood there still as a statue. Silver tried to double back Jasper sprang onto me knocking the air out of my chest “don’t you insult me” as Jasper spoke he thought of how much he had hurt her just so he could gain back the trust of his pack.

Automatically Jasper got off her and let her stand back up.”i’m so sorry for all the things i’ve done to you Silver” jasper said quietly “what’s done is done i guess” she answered”lets start new but together this time o.k.?” asked Silver ”yes i promise”he answered.

At school we had to write a survey at school.we could pick any topic we liked 😉

First we had to collect our data and write it on paper then into a google form.

Today my class and I went to Lake Manuwai it was fun ,but now i’ll get into the details

Firstly we listened the whole bus ride to music and had a long laugh

secondly we got into our groups my group did paddle boarding it was sooo fun especially standing up and watching people fall off their boards but after a while every one got the hang of it, Indy and Me were the only ones in our group that didn’t fall of (:
